At Vehicle Assist, we are committed to protecting your privacy and to ensure that you have a secure online experience. We do not record the fact that you have visited the site but will need information from you in order to provide services that you request. This statement of privacy explains data collection and use in those situations. All information supplied to us via the online claim form or otherwise may be passed on to relevant companies or organisations in order to deal with your enquiry. In particular, claim information supplied to us will inevitably be forwarded to Alan Curtis Solicitors Ltd in order to process the enquiry.

Vehicle Assist is not responsible for the content or the privacy polices of websites to which it may provide links or the websites of its suppliers or advertisers and any transaction or information used is solely at your own risk and is subject to the terms and conditions of those websites. Vehicle Assist uses precautions to keep the personal information disclosed to us secure.

Vehicle Assist does not manage any claims and is not responsible for the management of any claims. Vehicle Assist is not a firm of solicitors and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. As such Vehicle Assist does not conduct claims for compensation but forwards all enquiries to Alan Curtis Solicitors Ltd of 78a Monnow Street Monmouth NP25 3EQ(www.alancurtislegal.co.uk) who are responsible for processing claims. Vehicle Assist will provide replacement vehicles to clients whose vehicles have been damaged or destroyed as a result of an accident. In these circumstances the claimant will sign a credit hire agreement for the hire of the vehicle. There are no other contracts between any potential claimant and Vehicle Assist. Any other contract, agreement or signed document is between the client and the solicitors firm handling the claim. We wish to clarify that the Directors of Alan Curtis Solicitors Ltd have a financial interest in Vehicle Assist and Alan Curtis is a Director. The Directors of Alan Curtis Solicitors Ltd fully adhere to the Solicitors Practice Rules regarding separate business arrangements. The Rules provide that any Solicitor who has a separate business shall do nothing in the course of practice, or in the course of making or accepting referrals connected with the separate business which is likely to compromise or impair any of the principles of the Solicitors Practice Rules. This requires, for example, that nothing be done that shall compromise a solicitors independence, a client`s freedom to instruct their own choice of solicitor, and the solicitors overiding duty to act at all times in their clients best interests. We must inform you that as a customer of Vehicle Assist Ltd you do not enjoy the statutory protections attaching to the clients of a solicitor, and hence we will ensure that you are referred to Alan Curtis Solicitors Ltd who will then be able to provide services that will be subject to SRA regulation. The company does not act in any way to influence or constrain the appointed solicitor to prevent them advising you independently and entirely in your best interests. You are free to instruct a solicitor of your own choice if you do not wish to use Alan Curtis Solicitors Ltd.

Fees and Referrals

Vehicle Assist comply with the Solicitors Introduction and Referral Code 1990, as amended, and the Solicitors Publicity Code 2001 published by the Law Society and Alan Curtis Solicitors Ltd are a solicitors firm who are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and they will provide impartial and confidential advice. Vehicle Assist Ltd charges Alan Curtis Solicitors Ltd the sum of Four hundred and two pounds fifty pence inclusive of VAT for each personal injury claim referred to them. Vehicle Assist Ltd will pay the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds plus VAT where appropriate for any clients referred to them.

There is no charge by Vehicle Assist to any person submitting a claim form or any other details to Vehicle Assist

If anyone submitting details of their claim subsequently has their case accepted by Alan Curtis Solicitors Ltd then the firm will pay Vehicle Assist a referral fee. A full explanation of all fees paid and received will be provided prior to accepting instructions to proceed with the case. The firm will not charge or recover these fee from the claimant.

The company does not act in any way to influence or constrain the appointed Solicitor to prevent them advising you independently and entirely in your best interests.

Vehicle Assist is regulated by the Ministry of Justice in respect of regulated claims management activities. Registration number CRM3056
